Copper inlaid bronze vase (500 BC - 400 BC) This rare vase with original cover could be dated to late Eastern Zhou , Early Warring States period ,5th Century BC. ref. 4189 Literature: The inlay pattern is similar to a vase Nr 45 page 260, Vol.3 in the Sackler Collection at the Smithsonian Institution and relates also strongly to no 44 in the same collection and 44.1 (page 259) in the Royal Ontario Museum. A very similar vase, without lid, is in the Victoria and Albert Museum Condition: The vase has no restaurations
