Brown and green glazed pottery granary , Western Han Dynasty (206 - 8)

Dimensions:
  42.00cm high (  16.54 inches high)



The vessel has a cylindrical body with 2 openings and a carved ladder at the front. On top of the umbrella shaped roof , three green glazed birds on a square platform.





Pottery "he" with combined green and brown glazes are usually associated with late Western Han tombs of the Shaanxi region and are slightly earlier in date than those with monochrome green glaze.
