The jar glazed inside. The base of the jar revealing a fine grained white porcelaneous body. Hebei province ref.no.4386 Literature: Gyllensvard: The World's Great Collections, Vol.8 Museum of Far Eastern Antiquities, Stockhholm Pl.45 for a similar sized white porcelain jar/cover from the Hellner Collection Condition: The base of the finial has been reattached during the potting process. The initial break is covered by glaze.
