For a discussion on this ceramic type see :Wenwu 1997:10 pp.48 - 63, Qin Dashu, Ma Zhongli, Red and Green Porcelain. A similar figurine (fig 16) was unearthed from a tomb in Handan City, Hebei Province The epitaph from this tomb is dated to the 2nd year (1202) of the Taihe Period.
